After 160 years teaching boys, Ipswich Grammar School opened its co-educational IGS Early Learners in January this year.

A childcare and kindergarten service for children up to pre-Prep, the Centre was purpose-built and designed to provide an early learning service with the same level of quality education and values as its’ parent Grammar School.

The challenge for the school was how to market the Centre so that it would appeal to local parents, present itself as a co-educational early learning service and work as part of the Ipswich Grammar School brand family.

Look Education worked with Ipswich Grammar School to design a suite of marketing materials including stationery, website, prospectus, parent handbook and other communications.

As the logo was already designed and incorporated a leaf pattern emanating from the IGS letters, Look Education used the existing framework of typography, colours and leaf iconography to create a synergistic brand look and feel across all marketing elements.

The brand positioning of ‘Grow with us’ was also developed which was relevant to the logo and the message.

Due to our experience with schools and other ELCs, we were able to work seamlessly with our client, Director of Marketing at Ipswich Grammar School, Erin Sorrensen, to produce all of the materials within six months.

“Look Education have been a trusted partner with Ipswich Grammar School to help us successfully launch the IGS Early Learners brand into the market place,” said Erin.
